American Courier Corporation was founded in 1946 The company's initial business was transporting mail for the US Postal Service and transporting newspapers for the Lincoln Journal Star.
In 1980, the company began performing courier services for financial institutions in Nebraska. Since then, the business has grown to serve over 2500 financial institutions in our multi-state service area. In the most recent measured period (1st quarter 2006), one of our largest customers measured our on time performance at 99.80%.
In 2004, American Courier Corporation acquired Action Cargo Express, a Wyoming corporation with an emphasis in the pharmaceutical and freight delivery industries. Since that acquisition, the company has expanded its pharmaceutical business into South Dakota, Western Nebraska and most recently the western slope and the extreme southern and eastern parts of Colorado.
